2025- Our Inaugural YearThe First Year Sets the Tone
We hoped to show that our impact reached far beyond Hampton Roads, so all of our inaugural year projects were in other parts of the state.
Despite not having a formal first-round raise, we had plenty to deploy.
If you donated in year 1, you helped us to put free solar on a low-income home in Richmond
You also helped us to put a free solar and battery system on Higher Ground Women’s Recovery Center, creating a resilience hub in rural SWVA, and allowing us to build a new relationship with KY-ODP utility. This project is complete and serving the community.
You also helped us to put a free solar and battery system on Oakwood Arts in Richmond, VA- creating another resilience hub. That installation is expected to be completed by Q2 of 2026.
Please enjoy the photos of the impact so far.
2026 is Going Strong
The Oakwood Arts resilience project is underway.
We are in final vetting for a state grant to create another resilience hub with storage and solar. We hope to announce that any day.
We are in the process of matching a suitable tribal lands project with available funding.
We are vetting other potential projects for the funding we currently have in hand.
We have a current pipeline of $22 million in potential projects.
We are looking for more partners, funders, and interested sites to continuing building out a pipeline of projects and potential funding.
